šŸThe 4 mindset shifts I wish I made sooner

Stop letting your thoughts trip up your strategy.

Hey, it’s Kat here!

When it comes to scaling, strategy definitely matters.
But mindset plays a bigger role than most of us think.

This week, I’m talking about the mindset shifts that help you navigate growth without burning yourself out.

Because how you think shapes how you build, how you lead, and how far you go.

This week we’re covering:

🧠 4 mindset shifts you need to scale without losing your sanity
šŸŽ™ļø Social media tactics that are working in 2025
šŸ’ƒ 2 things I do to celebrate small wins
šŸ“„ How to use mindset to improve your sales pages

I want to jump into a little side tangent before we dive into this week’s mindset shifts (I’m pretty sure 1/3 of my Voxer messages start withā€¦ā€so this is a side tangent but it’s important to knowā€¦ā€šŸ˜‚)

If you’re like me, you’re a little nosey and also love seeing some behind the scenes data.
HubSpot has created a free guide that digs into the data from thousands of marketers to see what is working in the social media space.

But here is your important KM reminder…
Just because someone else is using a platform (or there is some cool data about it) it doesn’t mean you need to run and join that platform.

The key to scaling is leaning into what is working and simplifying where you can.

So grab this guide from HubSpot and focus on the info that relates to the platforms you’re using (that you already get results from). You may find an interesting strategy you haven’t tried yet that is working on that platform. šŸ‘‡

šŸ Strategy of the Week:

The mindset shifts you need to scale (without losing your sanity)…

When you think of growing your business, you probably immediately go to: I need to work on my marketing…I should post more on social media. Maybe my offers aren’t right?

But scaling is about more than just your offers, funnels, and marketing.
It’s also about growing personally as your business grows.

That shift usually comes with yucky growing pains.
→ Letting go of control.
→ Doing things in a new way.
→ Seeing yourself not just as the service provider, but as the leader of something bigger (even if you just want a lifestyle business).

It’s easy to get stuck doing things the way you’ve always done them, even when the next version of your business is calling you forward.

That’s where mindset work comes in.

I know I’m reaching a new level of growth when I lay in bed at night and I want to get under the bed and merge with the floor in hiding.

I know that’s kind of odd, but that’s the best way I can describe what I feel. It’s like a full body feeling of wanting to be invisible.

🧠 No hiding… Let’s step into the next stage mindset.

Here are four mindset shifts to help you scale with more ease and intention.

1. Let go of the ā€œDo-It-Allā€ mentality (it’s hurting your business and you)

Two ā€œdo-it-allā€ areas that are keeping you stuck:

> Thinking you have to wear every hat in your business forever
> You need to be on all the social channels, creating all the funnels, try all the digital product types, and offer the same services as your competitors.

Delegation and automation are powerful growth strategies.
The belief that you need to do it all manually (so that it feels authentic), or you’re the only one that can do it well, keeps you stuck.

Cutting things that are spreading you too thin, diluting your efforts, or aren’t producing results, must be cut.

Your next step: Pick one task you can outsource, automate, or cut this week. Free up space to focus on what only you can do.

Focus on the work that leads to revenue and growth instead of keeping busy with things that could be outsourced, automated, or ideally cut.

I repeat: You don’t need to do it all.

2. Start focusing on progress not perfection (your new mantra)

Waiting until it’s ā€œreadyā€ often means it never becomes reality.
Momentum comes from doing, testing, and improving.

Your to-do list looks amazing.
I love that you’ve got all of these ideas and projects you want to complete.

But in 3 months you may still be saying: ā€œI need to get those pins designed and up on Pinterest so I can build traffic to my new freebieā€.

Instead of trying to design the perfect pins, or have it all ready so you can schedule it at once. Just publish it. Pin it. Put 1 pin up. Then another. Stop waiting for the perfect strategy or moment.

Action: Choose one thing you’ve been overthinking and launch it. Publish the page. Send the email. Test the offer. Done is powerful.

Shift your mindset away from always having to be perfect.

3. Shift from a doer mindset to a leader mindset:

Instead of seeing yourself as the ā€œdoerā€ of every task, start thinking like the leader of your business.
If you're always in the weeds, it's hard to see the bigger picture.
Leading means making space for strategy, vision, and long-term thinking.

You need days to do client work, and marketing, and admin tasks.
But you also need to time for big picture thinking, longer term planning, reviewing your data, and making the bigger business decisions.

You need to lead the growth of your business, no one else is going to do it.

Action: Block off at least 30 minutes this week for leadership time. Use it to review your metrics, refine your goals, or map out your next big move.

4. Adopt a Growth-Oriented Mindset

Work on reframing your failures as feedback and opportunities to learn. It’s the data you can use to improve on.

Growth isn’t linear. And setbacks don’t mean you’re off track. They mean you’re learning.

This one is hard but worth working on.

Action: Write down one recent setback and list three lessons you’ve learned from it.

šŸ¦„ In Your Corner:

Celebrate your small wins.
Big success is made up of small, consistent wins.
Take a moment to reflect on how far you’ve already come.

I love to do 2 simple things to celebrate:

→ A happy dance: this is just a fun little dance on the spot when I have any kind of small win. It’s fun and it helps me be present in the moment.

→ A money dance: yes…I love doing little dances at my desk. This one is when I make a sale or book a client. It’s a way for me to appreciate and be grateful for each person that said yes to coming into my business life. I get a moment to celebrate.

Sometimes for big wins, I will go out to eat somewhere fun as a celebration with my family.

What do you do to celebrate big and small wins?

🫔 KM Tip of the Week:

Use mindset to improve your sales pages

Mindset work doesn’t stop with you.
Your audience is bringing their own mindset to the page too and it shows up in what they believe about the topic you’re teaching.

Let’s say your product is about money.
You’re not just selling a budgeting tool or course.

You’re selling to someone who might be thinking:

→ ā€œI’ve never been good with money.ā€
→ ā€œI’m bad at math, so this probably won’t work for me.ā€
→ ā€œThis sounds complicated.ā€
→ ā€œWealth is for other people, not people like me.ā€

That’s what they’re bringing to your sales page before they even read a single bullet point.

Your job is to write with that in mind.
Meet those thoughts with clarity, empathy, and reassurance.

šŸ Show them that your product is simple and built for real life
šŸ Share proof from people like them
šŸ Focus on the transformation they can achieve
šŸ Use language that feels safe, empowering, and doable

The more your sales page reflects where they are (and what they’re afraid of) the more they’ll trust that your offer can actually help them move forward.

Don’t just highlight what’s inside the product.
Speak to the belief that’s keeping them from believing it’s possible in the first place.
