đźŤEnding the Year Gently
Closing the year with clarity, rest, and intention.

Hey, it’s Kat here 👋
I wanted to send one last note before I take 2 weeks off for the holidays, not with a strategy or a to-do list, but with a moment of honesty.
I’m tired.
This year has been full in all the ways.
Good ways. Stretching ways. Quiet ways.
And if I’m being honest, I’ve reached that point where my body and brain are both asking for a little less input and a little more rest.
And from the conversations I’ve had with clients lately, I know I’m not alone in that feeling.
As the year wraps up, it’s easy to zoom in on everything that didn’t quite happen.
The goals you didn’t hit.
The ideas that stayed ideas.
The plans that got pushed to “next year.”
But I want to gently offer a different lens as we close out the year.
Ending the year well means ending it with calm and intention.
It means taking a breath and noticing what did happen.
Maybe you:
» Made a decision that felt scary but right
» Learned what doesn’t work for you anymore
» Built something slowly instead of rushing
» Hit some big goals you’ve been working toward for years
» Or simply kept showing up in a season that asked a lot of you
Those things matter.
One of the biggest mindset shifts I see in sustainable businesses is this:
🍠Focus is more powerful than force.
Force says: Push harder, do more, try again, and do it faster.
Focus says: What actually matters now? What’s worth carrying forward? What can I let rest?
You don’t need to end the year proving anything.
You don’t need to tie everything up in a bow.
Sometimes the most strategic thing you can do is pause.
As we head into the holidays, my hope for you is simple.
I hope you give yourself permission to rest.
That you acknowledge what you’ve built, even if it feels unfinished.
And that you let calm (and intention) lead the way into whatever comes next.
Thank you for being here this year, for reading, reflecting, and growing alongside me. It genuinely means more than you know.
Wishing you a gentle end to the year, a Merry Christmas, and space to breathe before the next chapter begins.
With so much care,
