🍭7 higher-energy marketing methods that build trust.

Real talk: These methods help your audience trust you

Hey, it’s Kat here 👋

We’re in week 3 of our series on marketing that supports your energy, especially as you expand into digital products and courses.

If you haven’t read the first two emails in the series you can read them here:

Today, we’re looking at visibility tools that help you build momentum by connecting in real time with your audience.

These strategies aren’t “better” than the lower-energy methods from last week, they’re simply additional ways to show up and invite trust.

And when used intentionally, each of these can be a great piece of your marketing system.

And for all of my introverted, low-energy business friends…

If you’re considering skipping this email because you would rather sit in the dentist’s chair than engage in higher-energy marketing, I’m happy to report that in one of our future emails in the series I will be showing you how to do a “low-energy version” of these high-energy marketing methods.

The key to marketing your business and products sustainably is in creating a layered marketing plan that includes a mix of marketing methods that work with your energy.

💡 7 Higher-Energy Strategies:

Here are some higher-energy options and how they connect to your overall marketing system:

1. Live webinars & workshops:

Live workshops or webinars are great ways to:
→ Teach a concept your audience is curious about
→ Build trust quickly by engaging live in the chat
→ Sell a digital offer with context and connection

Live workshops often drive people to sign up for your email list and become warm leads you can nurture and market to in the future.

📌 How it fits your system:

  • Live webinar/workshop → Lead to freebie opt-in → Lead to email list (sell products).

  • Live webinar/workshop → Lead to digital product sales page (sell product).

  • Email newsletter (current subscribers) → Lead to live webinar/workshop → Lead to digital product sales page.

You can repurpose your workshop as a freebie or evergreen training later.

2. Social Media (Long Form & Short Form):

Think of social media as your digital storefront.
It’s where people can meet you, hear your voice, and connect with your values in real time.

Short-form content (like reels, carousels, and video shorts) gets attention and builds awareness.

Long-form content (like in-depth posts or threads) builds trust and depth. Together, they help people see you as a credible guide and start to explore what else you offer.

It’s higher energy because it often requires consistent output, real-time presence, and emotional energy. But it’s a great way to grow your visibility quickly when used strategically.

📌 How it fits your system:

  • Long form content → Lead to freebie using ManyChat automation (comment a word to get the freebie) → Lead to email list (sell products).

  • Long form content (LinkedIn Post) → Lead to blog posts or freebies directly → Lead to email list (sell products).

  • Short form content → Lead to freebie using ManyChat automation (comment a word to get the freebie) → Lead to email list (sell products).

  • Short form content → Lead to following account, engaging in comments, or sharing content → Allows for future content to lead them to purchase.

Social media helps you stay top-of-mind and guide people to the next step in your funnel.

3. Speaking on stages, hosting virtual summits, in-person events:

When you want to grow your audience and build credibility, this helps:
→ Position you as an expert
→ You get a warm lead list from your talk
→ Lead to collaboration or podcast invites

Speaking leads to audience growth and brand recognition.
Offer your freebie during your talk to grow your email list.

📌 How it fits your system:

  • Speaking events or summits → Lead to freebie → Lead to a specific email welcome sequence → Add to segmented or general email list.

  • In-person events → Connect with them on a social platform → Reach out via direct messenger and add to your network.

4. Running your own community:

Creating a community allows you to create a space to develop deeper relationships with your audience.

Whether it’s a Slack group, Facebook group, Circle space, or Voxer pod, this is where your audience gets a chance to connect with you and each other.

It’s high energy because it often involves ongoing conversation, thoughtful moderation, and creating content for that space. But the reward is a warm, engaged audience who is much more likely to buy from you, refer you, and cheer you on.

📌 How it fits your system:

  • Community → Lead to freebie opt-in → Lead to email list (sell products).

  • Community → Lead to digital product sales page (sell product).

  • Community → Shares behind-the-scenes or early access offers → Converts into beta testers or pre-sales.

  • Community → Lead to live webinar/workshop → Lead to digital product sales page.

5. Live video or audio content:

Live content creates connection.
Whether it’s a YouTube livestream, Instagram Live, or X Space, it’s a real-time invitation for your audience to engage directly with you or your team.

It builds trust quickly because they see you thinking on your feet, showing up without filters, and giving value generously.

It’s high energy because it requires planning, energy, and presence… but it also deepens connection quickly and can shorten the sales cycle.

📌 How it fits your system:

  • Live Q&A → Nurtures trust → Directs to a freebie → Leads to email funnel → Sells product

  • Live tutorial → Teaches a concept → Leads to product offer at the end → Converts in real time or through follow-up.

  • Live launch kickoff → Directs to limited-time sales page

Live content gives people a reason to show up, pay attention, and take action now vs later.

6. Challenges or Bootcamps:

These are great for high-intent lead generation.
→ You help your audience get a win in 3-5 days
→ By the end, they’re ready to go deeper with you

Challenges can lead directly into your course or product.
They're especially effective during a launch or campaign window.

They’re high energy because they often involve multiple live sessions, email follow-ups, and community engagement. But they’re also a powerful conversion tool when done well.

People buy from those who helped them take a meaningful step.

📌 How it fits your system:

  • Challenge sign-up → Adds to email list → Nurtures with daily prompts → Leads to product pitch on final day.

  • Bootcamp → Delivers value → Builds urgency → Converts into live program or digital product.

  • Mini-challenge → Hosted in stories or email → Leads to offer through a soft pitch.

Challenges move people from “maybe” to “I need this” in just a few days.

7. Pop-up Q&As or AMA sessions:

Ask-Me-Anythings (AMA) and Q&As are brilliant for answering objections and helping your audience feel seen.

They’re high energy because they require quick thinking and can be draining if you do them too often… but strategically placed, they help you engage directly with your audience and overcome the hesitation that keeps them from buying.

📌 How it fits your system:

  • Pop-up Q&A → Gathers feedback → Clarifies product benefits → Converts warm leads through DMs.

  • AMA session → Positioned mid-launch → Removes objections → Directs to sales page

  • Q&A during welcome sequence → Builds trust → Answers key questions → Increases conversions from email sequence.

They’re like a customer service desk that builds connection and closes gaps in your funnel.

🍭 All of these methods build real-time trust, create connection, and help your audience feel your passion.

But only when they’re used in a way that supports you, not drains you.

Think of these methods as tools in your toolkit, not requirements.

🎯 This week’s action:

Because we’re not just readers, we’re doers!

Pick one of the above strategies and ask yourself:

→ Could this method help build trust with my audience faster?
→ Where would it fit in my current marketing ecosystem?
→ Does this feel energizing and sustainable for me?

You don’t need to do all 7. Just choose the one that aligns with your personality, business goals, and audience.

In this series, I’ll bring it all together with a 2-layer marketing system that blends quieter, evergreen strategies with connection-driven ones.

So you can market in a way that’s completely aligned.

😂 Meme of the week

When you realize you don’t have to be on every platform, post every day, or go live 3x a week to grow your business.

Don’t forget to vote on the higher-energy marketing options you’d like me to do a deep dive on.

Last week I got some feedback that you’d like a deeper dive on:
> SEO, GEO + Blogging
> Email Marketing
> Pre-made training + collabs.

If you didn’t vote last week but want to, visit this link to do that!

With these deeper dives, I’m thinking we’ll also go over how they form part of the larger marketing plan.
